Exciting Announcement

Hello,

    Firstly I need to apologise as this blog post is a day late, due to me spending yesterday with my family picking pumpkins ready for Halloween. I also need to apologise as you are probably expecting a post about my second year at university. However this post has now been moved to next week, due to me having a very exciting yet scary announcement.

    Which is that I now have an Etsy shop (called Karmann Jean). Where I will be selling my handmade machine knitted Christmas stockings. I know that this might seem like it has come out of the blue. But the truth is I have been doing this (the preparation not selling) for a few months now, but I have been trying to keep it a secret, especially on my Instagram, which was very hard as I just wanted to show you for ages. So expect lots of in process of making pictures, over the next few weeks on my Instagram. As I wanted to hold back till everything was ready, as this is my first time having my own business. 

    I know that this post is shorter than my others, but as it doesn't follow the same sequence as the others, I just wanted to keep it short and sweet. As I just wanted to let everyone know about my new adventure. Once I have finished all my university blog posts, I will be doing a post all about this collection, how I started my own business, why I chose stockings, how I made them, any struggles I had and hopefully how it is all going, as this blog post marks the first day of Karmann Jean.

About The Collection:
    You can see more on my Etsy shop, but I just wanted to give a brief explanation as to what I am selling. The collection features a variety of standard sized stockings which are all handmade by me on my knitting machine. They are either plain, striped or have a fair-isle snowflake design or a dogs paw print. These all come with a jingle bell on their hanging hook. I also offer a mini stockings which would make a great gift if filled with sweets, as well as a jumbo stocking that is just under a meter long.
